All right, Veggies.  Here is your mission should you choose to accept it….
Starting Monday, the following will be strictly off limits for 3 weeks:

Gluten
Soy
Dairy
Sugar

Bonus points if you give up these:

Meat
Eggs
Corn
Caffeine

"But, Jen, what can I eat?!?!"

Lots!!!
You would be surprised how many lovely, scrumptious and often overlooked foods are not in any of those categories.
But more on that later.
Right now it is time to break down the three levels of cleansing:

1. THE ROCK STAR CLEANSE

2. THE SINGER/SONGWRITER CLEANSE

3. THE KARAOKE CLEANSE

The Rock Star Cleanse is the strictest of all the cleanses.
It is the Lady Gaga of cleanses: focused, intense and sometimes tasteless.
RSC is not for the faint of vegetable.
This is for the lady who has a juicer and is not afraid to use it.
For this cleanse we will juice, juice, juice all the live long day and at night have a raw vegan dinner.
And when I say juice, I'm not talking about swilling Tropicana, Odawalla, or Naked juices.
No, you will be eating..er drinking...liquid vegetables.
If you are pregnant, nursing or your parents are in town visiting, stay far away from this one.

The Singer/Songwriter Cleanse is a much more mellow cleanse.
This is for the person who likes to eat healthy, but has an aversion to anything too strict.
You'd rather have an array of meals to choose from and pick what you'd like based on your mood that day. With this cleanse you will still be eating mostly raw vegan meals, but for SSC you will only have to juice until noon.  SSC-ers will also learn the principals of food combining.
This, the Joni Mitchell of the cleanses, is so inclusive that it works for many people and for a very long time.  More than a "cleanse", this way of eating could be a way of life.

Which brings us to the Karaoke Cleanse.
Oh, sweet Karaoke-r, you can not deal with structure of any kind.
If you are so moved, you jump up and belt out a tune or you sit happily with your beer and chicken wings and watch other people sing.
That is fine.
For the Karaoke-r your goal is to make one meal a day a vegan meal.
It can be any meal of your choosing:
a smoothie
a salad
a veggie stir-fry
Go at your own pace and choose as the mood strikes you.
Who knows...
one good song and a Karaoke-r could become a Rock Star!
